This move towards film and television was the preface for the DREAM Family. The family is a range of devices centred around Digital Recording, Editing And Mixing for the music and entertainment industry. The products specialised in large format mixing for the film and television industries. They are the origin of a new era for all film, video, multimedia applications.

Integrated seamlessly with Fairlight's renowned audio platform, Binnacle, and centred on the world leading QDC technology engine, the DREAM Family delivers the highest performance, increased user efficiency, greater system integration + lower cost of ownership than any other product on the market at release. The DREAM Family consists of three devices: Console, Station + Satellite. These devices were designed to work both cooperatively & independently from one another.

A fully automated mixer with an integrate 48 track editor. The Console incorporates of a variety of control surface elements that drive Fairlight’s innovative QDC engine. Integrated with Fairlight’s Binnacle editing, the Console enables 96 audio channels, 6-band EQ, two-stage dynamics, 48 returns and 48 aux inputs.
