Nestlé Professional Coffee Cart

D+I were approached by Nestlé to develop a concept for a professional coffee-cart that would be presented to management with the hope of further development. The concept presented by D+I integrated the latest technology to demonstrate the next generation of point-of-sale systems. Designed for use in corporate events, football stadiums or anywhere with high foot traffic, the Nestlé Professional Coffee Cart was designed to be the mobile coffee kiosk of the future.

With the need to incorporate Nescafé's Milano coffee machine the only requirement from the client, D+I set out to explore the future of self-serve kiosks. We produced a sleek, smart concept cart that integrates new technologies to create an intuitive point-of-sale experience.

With a built-in bar fridge as well as concealed draw options, the cart seamlessly integrates the Milano coffee machine, along with a tap with drip catcher, by recessing them inside the cart when not in use. The coffee machine and tap rise up when the cart is stationary, while the point-of-sale system allows for either employee service or self-service (depending on the event).
