D+I at the 2017 Red Dot Gala Ceremony

The 2017 Red Dot Gala was held on July 3rd in the Aalto-Theater in Essen, Germany. It's the final celebratory highlight to mark the close of the Red Dot Award competition for this year.

As winners of the Red Dot: Best of the Best (awarded to the Everdure by Heston Blumenthal charcoal barbeque range), D+I were granted the special honour of receiving the Red Dot Trophy on stage in the presence of around 1,200 guests from all over the world, including design stars, media representatives, business experts, and political figures.

The Everdure by Heston Blumenthal charcoal barbeque range was also on display in the Red Dot Design Museum.

D+I were represented at the ceremony by David Jones (Head of D+I) and David Mansueto (Design Director). Also present was Heston Blumenthal's representative Otto Romer.
