The winners of Australia’s peak international design awards were announced on Friday, at the Australian Good Design Awards in a grand ceremony at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, attended by over 1,000 distinguished guests from the design, architecture, engineering, and business sectors.

The 2024 Australian Good Design Awards, themed 'The Design Effect,' underscored the crucial role design plays in shaping better products, services, spaces, and experiences while driving the transition to a more sustainable, less carbon-intensive future. The Good Design Awards celebrate the best new products and services on the Australian and international market, as well as excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, and digital design, while also rewarding emerging areas such as design strategy, social impact design, and next-gen talent.
The Australian Good Design Awards is the country’s oldest and most prestigious international awards for design and innovation with a proud history dating back to 1958. The 2023 Awards celebrated 65 Years of Good Design since the founding organisation behind the awards – the Industrial Design Council of Australia (IDCA) was first established.
