D+I have acquired NewieVentures in Newcastle.
D+I brings a long vested interest in the Hunter, having worked with many existing clients and partners in the region. Newcastle embodies a spirit of progressive thinking, with world-class companies and talent, and a great ambition to be a showcase Smart City for Australia.
Over the last year, D+I worked with the NewieVenture’s team, realising the level of expertise within the team and a culture that complemented our own.
NewieVentures was fresh and ready to be scaled + integrated into our formalised management and operating systems. Their proven performance and electronics capability drove the decision to acquire the business in early October 2021.
