2018 MedTech’s Got Talent Finals
2018 National MedTech’s Got Talent Gala Finals
D+I mentored team chosen as a finalist for the second year running.
Australia’s brightest MedTech entrepreneurs battled it out at the ‘2018 National MedTech’s Got Talent Gala Finals’ event in Melbourne at the end of November. 14 teams had three minutes each to pitch their business idea to the judging panel of industry executives, investors and sector influencers, who then selected five finalists.
D+I mentored the team from Ventora, who pitched their device for addressing respiratory distress in infants. We’re pleased to tell you that Ventora were selected as one of the five finalists. D+I have now mentored three finalists over the last two years.
The five finalists each secured $10,000 funding to kick-start their MedTech startup, and will now participate in an intensive six-week accelerator program, with the most investible team taking out the competition, and receiving an additional $30,000.
Congratulations to the entire Ventora team.
