Challenge: Performing accurate external ventricular drain (EVD) placement is crucial for relieving the build-up of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) and preventing life-threatening pressure increases. However, the current practice of performing EVD placement freehand poses the risk of inaccurate placement and potential damage to important neurologic structures.

Solution: Zeta Surgical offers a rapidly deployable, one-cart system powered by a proprietary 3-layer augmented neuronavigational system. This system calibrates CT/MRI scan data with real-time 3D patient and instrument tracking, providing intuitive, step-by-step guidance for precise neurosurgical procedures. By eliminating the need for free-handed techniques and manual image-to-patient registration, Zeta ensures sub-millimetre accuracy and a streamlined process.
