Three Red Dot: Product Design 2017 Awards For The Everdure By Heston Blumenthal BBQ Range

Following on from the HUB barbeque winning a coveted Red Dot Best of the Best Award, the Everdure by Heston Blumenthal FUSION charcoal barbeque and FURNACE and FORCE gas barbeques have also received Red Dot distinctions.

The expert committee for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2017 has recognised that the FUSION, FURNACE and FORCE barbeques are truly outstanding designs that are worthy of the internationally sought-after award.

Heston Blumenthal said “I am truly honoured that the FUSION, FURNACE and FORCE have won the Red Dot Awards. For me the design approach was the same as any dish — inspiration, experimentation and rigorous testing. In my mind design quality is taking something complicated and presenting it as effortless, and that is what we have done with the entire Everdure by Heston Blumenthal product range,”.

Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award said: “The Red Dot winners are pursuing the right design strategy. Manufacturers and designers from around the globe were invited to enter their products in the 2017 competition. After assessing more than 5,500 entries from 54 countries, the jury agreed that Everdure by Heston Blumenthal and D+I have created an extraordinary, innovative design.
