2017 iF Design Awards Winners

Two iF Design Awards for the Everdure by Heston Blumenthal Gas and Charcoal Barbeques

The Everdure by Heston Blumenthal barbeques designed by D+I have been internationally recognised for design excellence with both the charcoal and gas ranges receiving a coveted 2017 iF Design Award in the Product Category.

For over 60 years, the iF Design Award has been an acknowledged trademark for exceptional design, and it ranks among the world’s most prestigious design prizes. A total of 5,575 entries (from 59 countries) were submitted for the 2017 award.

World-renowned chef Heston Blumenthal drew on over 20 years of professional cooking experience when he embarked on a mission to create what has now been recognised as an award winning range of barbeques.

“I’m absolutely delighted that the Everdure by Heston range has won two iF Design Awards. Over the past two years a serious amount of thought went into every aspect of development, with both teams working closely together, endlessly designing and testing prototypes to make sure the range was just right. I was thrilled with the end result so it’s great to have that celebrated,” said Heston Blumenthal.

The Everdure by Heston Blumenthal Charcoal range of barbeques, which include the HUB, FUSION and CUBE, impressed judges with features such as the innovative Fast Flame Ignition System, Rotiscope Technology and outstanding aesthetic design, while the Gas range, comprising of the FURNACE and FORCE, showcased speed, precision and flexibility never before seen in a barbeque.

All awarded entries are featured on the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE and are displayed at the iF design exhibition in Hamburg.
