Rediroom — Instant Patient Isolation Room
Rediroom is the world’s first instant temporary patient isolation room. Able to be deployed on-demand, in any ward environment and fully operational in five minutes, Rediroom is designed as an alternative to hospitals needing to build permanent, expensive and space-consuming isolation facilities that may only be used occasionally. Rediroom enables hospitals to safely + effectively control pathogens and outbreaks, reducing the spread of infection. Developed by D+I, GAMA Healthcare + CARE Strategic — Rediroom conforms with Australian health facility guidelines + UK Department of Health (NHS) Guidance on “Infection Control in the Built Environment”. Rediroom has been deployed in a number of UK Hospitals to help assist with the effective isolation of COVID-19 positive patients + patients awaiting test results.

Quickly isolate high-risk patients.
In standby mode Rediroom provides a useful Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) cart. When an infectious patient is present, the cart can be quickly expanded to reveal a frame that supports a disposable canopy. The frame and canopy act as an isolation room for infectious patients, preventing the transmission of disease to other patients - ideal for high-risk patients while awaiting screening test results.
Hands-free operation.
Rediroom is equipped with its own fan assisted HEPA and carbon filtration system, which filters infectious air as well as providing temperature control and odour elimination. There is also a foot pedal operated, hands-free door opening mechanism that removes the risk of hand contamination.
