The Frontier Range

Inspired by the more extreme of explorers, the Frontier Kitchen Collection has been designed to offer premium, lightweight, dependable, and easy-to-use gear for limitless outdoor adventures. This premium range has been carefully crafted to offer all the essentials in a durable and functional system, incorporating collapsible and nestable cookware, bowls, cups, and utensils. Through the development of a considered design system the Frontier range introduces a series of innovative features that meet the needs of explorers who seek to elevate their cooking and dining experiences while on the more extreme of adventures.

D+I was tasked with the challenge of creating a lightweight, space-saving, and versatile camp kitchen series for serious backcountry adventurers. The Frontier range needed to improve upon existing Sea to Summit offerings in terms of weight, packability, durability, functionality, and performance. The range serves the more extreme of explorers who value ingenious solutions to enhancing the experience of meal preparation + enjoyment in remote locations. All products within the collection benefit from a thoughtfully considered design system, with shared product dimensions, proportions, materials, finishes, and profiles that make it easy mix and match products within the range. Collapsible structures and nesting mechanisms ensure space-efficiency, whilst material selections including hard anodized aluminium, food-grade silicone, and glass-reinforced nylon work together to deliver a highly practical and ultra-lightweight solution.
