Smart Modem^™Gen 2

The Telstra Smart Modem™ Gen 2 improves home broadband reliability by seamlessly switching from wired broadband to the mobile network if needed. The modem uses an inbuilt, pre-activated SIM to connect to the network right out of the box, even before the home network is activated.

If there’s a problem with the broadband connection the modem will automatically switch to the mobile network, then switch back to broadband once the issue is resolved.

Minimalist form.

The Telstra Smart Modem has been designed to complement the modern home environment, with neutral colours and a sophisticated, minimalist form. This simplicity extends to the user interface — the front of the modem has only a subtle power indicator, with all other functions and ports housed on a recessed rear panel.
