The Watermelon parking terminal is the hardware component of the innovative Watermelon parking management system. Designed to meet the demands of modern car parks and to improve the user experience for customers, the Watermelon is revolutionising car park operations.

Ergonomic design.

The Watermelon parking terminal's sleek, modern styling is the product of our focus on usability. The aim was to place the touchscreen and input devices closer to the car window for improved ergonomics. Designing the terminal with a curved 'S' profile brings the user interface forward for easy accessibility from the car window.

Lighting was employed to easily alert drivers to the device's status. Surround lighting wraps around the entire front fascia, allowing cars of any size — or even pedestrians — to easily observe the status from a distance or close-up.

Minimal maintenance.

Compared to traditional parking systems that are bulky and expensive, the Watermelon parking terminal is designed to be economical to run and simple to maintain. It features a stainless steel skin attached to a rugged steel chassis that allows damaged panels to be easily replaced. Servicing is carried out from the rear of the unit, keeping technicians well away from vehicles and safe from danger.
